Troy High freshman Hannah Kim landed a spot on the Michigan Interscholastic Golf Coaches Association's nine-player Super Team, one of the top postseason honors in Michigan girls golf.

The Michigan Interscholastic Golf Coaches Association (MIGCA) released its full list of postseason awards Oct. 30, as reported by MLive. Kim was one of nine players across all four divisions selected for the Super Team.

The honor caps a freshman season that included a tie for second place at the Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 1 state finals Oct. 16-17 at Bedford Valley Golf Club in Battle Creek.

Kim and Saisha Patil of Okemos each finished at 148, seven strokes behind medalist Olivia Griswold of Portage Central, according to the MHSAA's state-finals coverage.

Kim shot a 76 in the opening round before posting an even-par 72 on the second day. She entered the final round tied for fourth place.

"My putting was a big improvement from yesterday," Kim said after the state finals, according to the MHSAA.

She credited her putting improvement for her final-round score and acknowledged that Griswold's opening-round lead made catching her difficult.

Kim's season included a 5-under-par 65 in a round earlier in the fall, during which she recorded a hole-in-one on hole 14, according to Troy Colts Athletics. She shot a 31 on the back nine.

She also led Troy at regionals as the top individual performer, shooting a 2-over-par 74 at Greystone Golf Club. Troy qualified for the state finals as a team with a score of 362.

The Colts went on to finish 13th in Division 1 at the state finals, according to Troy High's athletics department.

Griswold, who fired a 5-under 67 in the opening round at the state finals and finished at 3-under 141, earned the MIGCA's Miss Golf award.

The other Super Team selections were Addilyn Duflo of Bath, Megan Guerrera of Farmington Hills Mercy, Alivia Offer of Grand Rapids Forest Hills Central, Eleanor O'Grady of Grand Rapids Christian, Patil and Anika Srivastava of Okemos, and Lila Redder of Ionia.

The recognition places Kim among nine golfers honored statewide following the 2026 high school season.
