Kelly Services has built generative AI, voice-enabled intake and live market data into its Sevayo workforce platform, the Troy-based staffing company announced Oct. 29.
The upgrades target a specific moment in hiring: the requisition, when a manager decides what role to fill, which talent channel to use and how much to pay.
"Workforce outcomes are largely determined at the requisition, when a hiring manager decides what to buy, from whom, and at what rate," Alan Stukalsky, chief product and technology officer at Kelly, said in the announcement.
Three new features anchor the update, according to the company:
- Generative AI assistant. Hiring managers can ask questions in plain language and get guidance as they weigh requisition needs and workforce options.
- Voice-enabled intake. Managers can start a requisition by speaking instead of filling out forms.
- Live market data. Benchmark pay rates and labor-market information appear inside the requisition workflow so managers see market context before making decisions.
Sevayo connects an employer's existing applicant tracking, vendor management and human resources information systems on one platform. It pulls together data across contingent staffing, direct sourcing, freelance talent and services procurement.
Kelly said the platform is designed to direct each talent request to an appropriate channel and apply compliance controls before a requisition goes out.
The company introduced the features after consolidating three earlier tools, Helix, Helix UX and Sevayo Insights, under the Sevayo name.
Kelly describes the combined platform as the foundation for future "agentic automation" across its workforce programs. The announcement did not provide a rollout schedule for those future capabilities.
"Clients are asking for unified, strategic solutions that cut across their entire workforce," Stukalsky said. "Sevayo is the foundation of our workforce programs, so intelligence is built into everything we deliver, not bolted on afterward."
On Oct. 27, KellyOCG, the company's outsourcing and consulting group, was named the No. 1 provider on HRO Today's 2026 Total Workforce Solutions Baker's Dozen customer satisfaction ratings for the second straight year.
The ranking is based on customer feedback. KellyOCG also ranked first for quality of service, according to the company's announcement.
Kelly said it will continue developing Sevayo's infrastructure and expanding its capabilities over time.
