Troy police officers and firefighters faced off Oct. 9 at Donald Flynn Park in the annual Battle of the Badges game.
The Rotary Club of Troy hosted the event, with opening ceremonies scheduled for 6:30 p.m. and the first pitch at 7 p.m.
Mayor Ethan Baker threw the ceremonial first pitch. In an Oct. 16 post on X, Baker said it was an honor to participate and thanked Rotary for hosting.
“Great to see so many community members supporting the best public safety departments around!” Baker wrote.
The City of Troy described the event as the second annual Battle of the Badges and said both departments gave their all on the field.
